The Angora Ridge Foundation is a family foundation that provides charitable grants to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, with primary interests in Montana and California. We were initially endowed through the generosity of the former Fel-Pro Inc./Felt Products Mfg. Co. of Skokie, Illinois. Managed by a small board of directors having diverse interests, we intend that our grants promote activities in the following areas:
- Justice
- Recreation, healthy lifestyle and sports
- Clean environment, environmental education & conservation
- Marine ecology
- The arts
- Organizations in our own communities (Oakland Bay Area, Whitefish, and Lake Tahoe)
The Angora Ridge Foundation invests its corpus funds in Socially Responsible Investments exclusively.
